Welcome to Active Deo – Your Active Lifestyle Deodorant!
We’re Marvin and Vicente — two mates with a shared passion for the outdoors, staying active, and making things better. Whether it’s long trail runs, sweaty gym sessions, or just powering through busy days, we were constantly let down by deodorants and antiperspirants that promised a lot and delivered... well, not much. They stained, they faded, they gave up halfway through the day - and worst of all, they just didn’t keep the stink away.
So, we decided to do something about it.
With Marvin’s scientific knowledge - a Master’s in Biochemistry and a PhD in Experimental Medicine & Immunology - and Vicente’s background in Engineering and sustainability, we set out to create a deodorant made with naturally-derived ingredients that actually works. One that could keep up with an active lifestyle, be kind to the planet, and still feel good on your skin.
It took nine months of R&D and over 40 different formulas until Active Deo was born: a deodorant that delivers serious odour protection using only naturally-derived ingredients.
Active Deo is aluminium-free. Not because aluminium salts are harmful (don't believe our competitors telling you otherwise - there is no scientific evidence supporting this claim), but because aluminium-based antiperspirants don't work that well when you're living an active lifestyle. Active Deo is built on real science, straight-up ingredients, and performance you can feel (and smell). We wanted Active Deo to last through a quick ocean dip - impossible with an aluminium-based product without reapplying...
