Welcome to Active Deo – Your Active Lifestyle Deodorant!
We’re Marvin and Vicente — two mates with a shared passion for the outdoors, staying active, and making things better. Whether it’s long trail runs, sweaty gym sessions, or just powering through busy days, we were constantly let down by deodorants and antiperspirants that promised a lot and delivered... well, not much. They stained, they faded, they gave up halfway through the day - and worst of all, they just didn’t keep the stink away.
So, we decided to do something about it.
With Marvin’s deep scientific knowledge - a Master’s in Biochemistry and a PhD in Experimental Medicine & Immunology - and Vicente’s background in Electrical Engineering, sustainability, and an MBA from Melbourne Business School, we set out to create a deodorant made with naturally-derived ingredients that actually works. One that could keep up with an active lifestyle, be kind to the planet, and still feel good on your skin.
We spent nine months on R&D — testing, tweaking, and reformulating. Over $100,000 and over 40 formulations later, Active Deo was born: a deodorant that delivers serious odour protection using only naturally derived ingredients. We’re not here to scare you about aluminium or throw around greenwashed buzzwords. Active Deo is built on real science, straight-up ingredients, and performance you can feel (and smell).
And yes, it’s free from aluminium salts — not because they’re toxic (that’s just bad marketing), but because aluminium is simply not the best option for preventing body odour when you're active.
That’s also why Active Deo comes in a cream format — not a stick, not a roll-on. The cream gives us the freedom to create a formula that actually works, stays put, and delivers all-day performance.
